Steel prices today, January 9, 2014: Domestic steel prices have had their first rebound in the new year, with increases ranging from 150,000 - 370,000 VND/ton.
Forecasting the steel market in 2024, many experts believe that in the coming time, if the Government, ministries and branches do not have more breakthrough policies for the real estate market, the steel market will still not be able to break through. Right now, difficulties are likely to persist because demand for steel is still weak.

Previously, in 2023, Vietnam's real estate market was very gloomy, affecting steel consumption, especially construction steel. The number of newly licensed construction projects in 2022 is at a record low, which shows that construction demand in 2023 and the coming years is low.

It is forecasted that steel prices may continue to increase with a slight margin in the near future.

Hoa Phat steel price today with CB240 steel coil line increased by 200 VND/kg to 14,140 VND/kg; D10 CB300 rebar steel increased by 290 VND/kg to 14,530 VND/kg.

Vietnam-Italy steel price, with CB240 steel coil line, increased by 270 VND/kg to 14,140 VND/kg; D10 CB300 rebar steel increased by 370 VND/kg to 14,540 VND/kg.

Viet Duc steel price for CB240 steel coil line increased by 400 VND/kg to 14,040 VND/kg, D10 CB300 rebar steel price increased by 300 VND/kg to 14,640 VND/kg.
